ORIGINS

Initially known as Royal Turkish Towelling, it gained favour with Queen Victoria herself, remaining primarily a utility fabric until the turn of the century.

By the late 1950s, Terry Towelling found a new calling as beachwear, its refined quality boasting a smoother exterior, making it both visually appealing and functional. Its cinematic debut in the 1964 film Goldfinger, draped on the iconic James Bond, portrayed a blend of masculinity and luxury that captivated audiences.
