ORIGINS

The design pays homage to the Henley-style Track and Field tops worn in the 1920s, famously donned by athletes like Harold Abrahams during the 1924 Olympics. These early athletic shirts, characterised by their buttoned necklines and fitted silhouettes, symbolise a golden era of track and field, where performance met a distinctive vintage style.

The tee also nods to the utilitarian style of 1950s military basic training uniforms. This period's uniforms were not only practical but also conveyed a sense of disciplined style, which influenced the tee's overall design and functionality.
