INTRODUCING

Inspired by the functionality and style of the Western Long Johns worn by Cowboys, we set about designing our version of a classic underwear garment. The added protection and warmth they can provide are ideal for any outdoor worker or winter adventurer. We sketched and tested for months to find the perfect balance between practical and stylish, with our signature details for the finishing touch.

Our Long Johns are a mid-rise fit with moisture-wicking, woven fabric on the top placket which matches the Elder Henley. They’re made with a high stretch percentage for comfort and are packaged in a bespoke paper bag to reduce plastic consumption.

ORIGINS

“I always liked the style of Cowboy long johns in old Westerns I used to watch as a kid - they seemed really practical to me. And obviously added protection and warmth to the legs when they were riding for long periods of time.

I also noticed that Motorbike riders would wear them under their oilskin trousers or jeans for the same reason as the horse-riding cowboys.

I wanted to design a modern pair but with that original cowboy styling, 3 buttons at the front and the raw off-white colour, but in a much softer fabric than they used to be.”
