A softer take on the classic sweat.

"The quality and attention to detail is as always with &SONS, spot on."

INTRODUCING

The Pender takes the familiar shape of a raglan sweatshirt, giving it a softer feel and more relaxed drape than traditional sweatshirts.

A cotton-wool blend keeps the fabric soft with enough stretch to move comfortably and recover its shape. Yarn-dyed in a deep brown, with darker tonal stitching bringing subtle definition to the seams.

Raglan sleeves keep a clean line across the shoulders and leave room to move, so it layers easily over a tee now and under a jacket as the weather turns.

Deep brown is a versatile tone to build around, sitting comfortably alongside denim, khaki and darker layers through the colder months.

A go-to layer, softer than the classic sweat and made to be worn just as hard.

Note: This is a wool blend fabric so please wash according to the care label on a delicate cycle and dry flat.

ORIGINS

The V insert at the neck, often called the Dorito, is a detail borrowed from early athletic sweatshirts. Originally used as part of the construction around the neckline, it became one of the defining details of the classic crew-neck sweat and remained long after sweatshirt construction evolved. The Pender keeps that familiar reference, recreated in the same cloth as the body. A small nod to the sweatshirt’s sporting origins on a distinctly softer, more contemporary version.
