Late last year, we ran an exciting competition in collaboration with Ruffians Barbers. The goal was simple - we wanted to give back to our community and treat one deserving winner to an unforgettable experience. We asked you to write to us explaining why you, or your nominated friend, should win.
The Makeover Experience
After receiving many entries, we finally chose our winner - Alex a NHS worker who worked tirelessly through the pandemic. We invited him to London to enjoy a full day of pampering and styling. Alex was treated to a haircut and beard trim at Ruffians Barbers, a full &SONS update to his wardrobe and spent the evening catching up with Phil and James.
Don't just take our word for it. We captured the whole experience on camera, and here's what Alex had to say about his day:
"I travelled on the train to the big smoke. I nervously walked into Ruffians barbers and was met by Phil and James. I felt instantly at ease and got on with both of them famously.
I was treated to an amazing haircut and beard trim by the Ruffians, and that was just the start of things. I was then helped to style a selection of &sons clothing, footwear, and headwear, and with James and Phil's expert help on layering and combinations, I tried on several outfits. After much deliberation, the makeover was complete. I honestly felt incredible afterwards, and hopefully, that shows. I even had strangers commenting on how good i looked!!!
I was already a fan of &SONS, the brand and the ethos, but after my experience and meeting the owners, I can honestly say &SONS is more than a brand of clothing. It's a way of being, a way of expressing yourself, and a company others brands should aspire to be like.
