INTRODUCING

The Weldon Longsleeve is a substantial jersey top cut from 100% organic cotton and vintage washed for a softer, broken-in feel from the start.

Wear it as the outermost layer through milder seasons or use it as a base layer under shirts, overshirts and jackets in the colder months.

The construction takes its cues from traditional athletic and military base layers. A 2x2 rib collar gives the neckline structure, while deep rib cuffs and a ribbed chest pocket bring texture against the flat jersey.

Coverstitch runs down the side seam and underarm, continuing onto the cuff. Usually kept to the inside of a garment, here it becomes part of the exterior detail.

Finished with a rounded hem, cut two centimetres longer at the back for a little extra coverage through movement.

ORIGINS

Originally developed as a practical base layer, the long-sleeve jersey became a staple across athletic kit, military clothing and everyday workwear. Ribbed collars and cuffs brought structure and durability, while the simple jersey body made it easy to wear beneath heavier layers.

The Weldon keeps that straightforward thinking, but with enough detail to wear as an outer layer in milder weather. A simple jersey top, built to move easily between seasons.
