As adventurers at heart, we're constantly inspired by the rugged beauty of the wild forests of the Americas. It's with this spirit we have designed the Black Tree Trucker Cap, that pays homage to the untamed wilderness. 

In a classic black with a contrasting yellow patch with a black tree icon proudly embroidered on the front. The main body is crafted from 100% cotton, while the mesh panels made from 100% polyester provide optimal ventilation, keeping you cool and comfortable even on the most sweltering days.

The peak of the cap is reinforced with six rows of top stitching, guaranteeing it stands up to the rigours of your active lifestyle, whether you're hiking a national park or enjoying a local BBQ in the sun.

ORIGINS

From the early 1930s through to the 60’s truckers were given heavily branded peaked caps by the haulage companies and later by other brands as a way of promoting their businesses. Also known as mesh or net back caps, they gained notoriety through into the 70’s as global brands such as Mountain Dew and agricultural feed companies used them as giveaways at truck stops which is why they’re also known as gimme caps. “Give me”, due to them being handed out for free. Fast forward to the 50’s and the trucker cap is the staple in a denim-head wardrobe, still carrying the heavy branding, the net back and the curved peak.
