The yarn-dyed construction gives the red consistency through the fibres rather than surface colour alone. A garment softener wash finishes the piece, smoothing the handle and settling the fabric from the outset. The result is a T-shirt that feels broken in without feeling worn out.

ORIGINS

Lightweight cotton T-shirts trace their roots to 19th- century naval uniforms, where breathable jersey knits were worn beneath heavier layers at sea. Striped versions were introduced for visibility - their bold lines easier to distinguish against water and sky.
