INTRODUCING

The Clark is a rope cap in washed cotton canvas, with a bit of the outdoors in its blood. A tan crown sits above a dark contrast peak, and a black and white cord runs across the front.

The front carries our Since Forever crest, embroidered in antique white, with six embroidered eyelets and five rows of topstitching on the flat peak, ready to wear straight or curved to your own shape. A boxy, high-crown fit gives it presence, and a self-fabric back strap with a debossed antique brass ampersand buckle sets the fit, all on heavy-washed canvas that looks lived-in from the start.

ORIGINS

The rope was there for a reason. On the caps of sailors and fishermen, a braided cord ran across the peak to hold the hat fast in a hard wind, or to tie it down when the work was done.

By the middle of the last century the same detail had found its way onto the golf course and into everyday wear. The Clark carries the cord in that spirit. A working detail that adds character.
