Our classic fit, Navy Racing 2 T-Shirt is finished with an organic cotton twill patch paying homage to a famous scene from The Thomas Crown Affair in 1968. Like many roles, McQueen embraced his character and learnt to play polo for this particular scene and was filmed wearing a now-iconic graphic t-shirt in Navy Blue with a white number two on the front.

MODEL WEARS MEDIUM - 6ft 2 / Chest 40" / Waist 32"

The T-shirt is mid-weight, organic cotton with a raw edge number two giving it a vintage look and feel. The edge is unfinished to give the aged look and feel and therefore you will see fraying occur in some places. This will not go further than the stitch line.
The T-Shirt is the perfect Summer garment and can be worn with our Virgil Chinos, Blue Rebel Harrington for that classic look.
Another classic from the team at &SONS - I feel just a little cooler for wearing it.
MCQUEEN RIDES AGAIN WITH OUR ORGANIC COTTON T-SHIRT
Origins
Considered a turning point in the career of Steve McQueen, The Thomas Crown Affair saw the actor ’suit up for his role as Thomas Crown, a playboy businessman who enjoys living on the edge and conjuring up ingenious heists while looking super cool as ever.
At the time, it was a move away from his rugged attire seen in films such as The Great Escape and this positioned McQueen as a true style icon and inspired a new generation of guys looking to adorn his look.
During the film, McQueen is pictured wearing impeccable three-piece suits and various Summer shirts in keeping with the era. But it was the polo scene that caught our eye and what inspired us to bring this T-Shirt to life.
